Henry, Aunt Rose, and shakey Jake on Christmas

Christmas with the Allens/Persons in Janesville

This is Rose's first year in her house, and her first time hosting the family Christmas get-together. Great Uncle Kent lent a helping hand, and everything went very well. Here's Great Grandma Persons, Grandma Allen, Great Aunt Sandy, and Uncle Don. This is the calm before the "gift-opening" storm.

It's Winnie the Pooh, and he's almost as big as me!

Great Aunt Sandy is a well-practiced Grandma, and had fun letting Henry use her as a trampoline. :)

Here's Aunt Rose holding Henry, and Dad being silly, of all things.

Aunt Rose hasn't put Henry down yet, and now Great Uncle Kent is getting in the picture.

Here's Henry enjoying a little (and I mean little) break from all his activity with Great Uncle David, Great Aunt Sandy, and his new car. The car is teaching him how to say, "to infinity and beyond!"

Alrighty then, Henry is just about done for the day. He's trying to escape his captivity. :) Also appearing for the first time in these pictures is Jake's cat, Harley. Henry had a good time chasing him around. Harley's just a little faster. :)

Henry and Dad.

Christmas with the Landmanns in Roseville, MN

After a nice drive (and an unfortunately short morning nap), we arrived at Uncle Paul and Aunt Sarah's home in Roseville and boy were there a lot of presents!

Here's Grandpa helping Henry open a present. The ride-on toy in the picture wasn't for Henry, but since Kori's not quite ready for it, he broke it in a little for her. :)

Thanks for the drum! There are lots of fun percussion toys, too.

Here's Aunt Sarah showing Kori the books Henry helped pick out for her.

And here's Henry showing Kori the finer points of the play camera we gave her.

Henry checking out one of the many nice puzzles he received.

Sesame Street tools! Elmo power drill that makes cool noises!

Aunt Patty helping Henry get his "work" gloves on.

Henry with his tool belt on. One-sies work great at preventing "plumber's butt".

Grandma Landmann, Uncle Jon, and Uncle Paul watching all the festivities.

All done opening gifts now. Now it was time for Kori and Henry to give us a nice gift of a photo op with Grandma and Grandpa.

It's amazing how a little frosted cookie

let us finally get the reindeer antlers on Henry. :)

Enjoying his book...

His arm is a bit blurry in the first picture because he's showing how you "cut, cut" and pointing to the axe by the chopped wood. He loves this book. : )

Dinner with Luke and Cheryl

Who knew that I liked prime rib? Mmmm. I had a great time eating with Luke and Cheryl and Mom and Dad.
