Food, marvelous food!

Yesterday, Henry gave me enough hints that he was ready to start eating solid food that we gave it a go. It went great. I put him in his bouncy seat with a bib on, and started trying some unsweetened applesauce. He ate like he's been eating forever. He had about 3 tablespoons (not all at once). Then he let me know he was done. This morning I decided to try it again, with a photographer present. Tom took pictures and video. Here's one of the photos. I think we have entered a new phase. He's growing up!

Henry's first Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving at Grandpa and Grandma Landmann's house. Uncle Jon was there, too.





Grandma made a wonderful meal. Henry got to try a little -- a tiny bit each of mashed and sweet potato. The mashed went down well, but the consistency of the sweet didn't go over well and came right back out. He didn't get any of the yummy pumpkin pie or brownie. Next year for sure.
