Home sweet home

Tuesday, August 23rd, we brought our bundle of joy home from the hospital. What a great feeling! Now, the settling in to the rest of our lives begins. So far, so wonderful.

The trip home was uneventful -- Henry slept the whole way. Hopefully he keeps up being a good traveler. We brought him home in our recently upgraded family vehicle -- a Honda CR-V. It has a nice amount of room for our little family, a definite upgrade over our little commuter Kia. By the way, anyone looking for a nice little commuter vehicle? :)

Happy Birthday!

Saturday, August 20th, is the day we will be welcoming Henry Thomas Landmann into the world. Because he is in a breech positioning and our first delivery, my doctor, Susan Davidson, has directed us to have a cesarean section as the safest option. The big event will take place at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin, at 8:30 a.m. Mom and Dad are quite excited and look forward to "meeting" Henry with great anticipation. He has been long waited for and will be greatly loved.
